Lewis to host 'Dance Day'

Cassie Lewis, current Miss Moscow, will host the first National Dance Day event in downtown Moscow July 25, from 6 to 8 p.m.

in Friendship Square.

Lewis, along with volunteers, will instruct a variety of dance styles.

The celebration is free of charge and open to all ages.

National Dance Day is an annual celebration that occurs on the last Saturday of July.

The celebration was launched in 2010 by “So You Think You Can Dance” co-creator and Dizzy Feet Foundation co-president Nigel Lythgoe.
