Tale of two combines

A harvest crew of pigeons waits for the call for action, or maybe for a little grain in the tank, last week on this vintage Harris model combine parked east of Steptoe. Below, a harvest crew works during the last minutes of daylight to finish up a field Saturday on the flat along Sommers Road north of Wilcox Road intersection.
