Appreciation award to Kramers

“Our commission, relating it to the book of James in the bible, is to care for widows and orphans,” said Joe Harrison, left, VFW Post 10300 Commander, before a salute as part of a presentation of appreciation to Mark (left) and Robert Kramer from Kramer Funeral Home in Palouse Friday. Harrison went on to note that caring for veterans is the VFW’s specific mission. The post serves all of Whitman County and much of north Latah County. Left of Robert Kramer, saluting, is Les Pixley, Trustee of Post 10300, and Forrest Miller, Chaplain for the Post. The plaques commemorate the funeral home for “Outstanding Service to Veterans and their Families.”
