Cattlemen scholars named

Whitman County Cattlemen's Association has announced the recipients of the 2015 association's scholarships. Each award recipient will receive a $1,000 to help toward their next educational goal. This year's scholarships were given to three high school graduating seniors who are entering a two or four year college, trade or technical school to pursue a course of study or training in an agriculture related field. Recipients are Carrie Hennigar, Colton; Lane Moore, Garfield, and Cooper Mills, St. John.
