Pomeroy strokers aim for ninth Cup

Turnout of swim meet fans seen here at an earlier Colfax meet is expected to increase in big numbers for Saturday’s 51st annual Knights of Columbus Jerry Cluckey Cup.

Pomeroy swimmers will be on the hunt for a ninth straight win of the Cluckey Cup Saturday when strokers from seven different team converge at Colfax for an all-day meet to finish off the season for novice swim league, now called the Tri-County league.

It will be the 51st edition of the meet which is formally known at the Knights of Columbus Jerry Cluckey Memorial swim meet.
