“X” marks the spot

A lighted “X” indicates to pilots not to land at the Colfax airport with the runway under renovation. Port Commissioner Dan Boone said the Colfax runway reconstruction project is “coming along really good.” Work began to expand and improve the runway on July 27 and is expected to conclude in October.
