Colfax high tea honors Thrifty Grandmothers

Colfax Chamber of Commerce hosted a high tea to honor Thrifty Grandmothers.

About 40 people attended the event in the Whitman County Library.

Colfax Distinguished Young Women Sara Appel, Olivia Mellor and Pearl Griffith also attended.

A variety of specialty teas were served.

A delicious lunch was prepared by Jeannine Burke and Becky Jewel with cucumber sandwiches, crumpets and jam, cookies, pinwheel wraps and more.

Sponsors and volunteers decorated tables with fine china.

Sponsors were Hen House Chicks, Palouse River Quilts, Tick Klock Drug, Greg’s Electrical, The Courtyard, Rosauers, Colfax Computer, Bruning Funeral Home, PNW, Kincaid Real Estate, Four Star Supply, Columbia Bank, Les Schwab Tires and Whitman County Library.
