Roes celebrate 50th anniversary

Dennis and Eileen Roe of Colfax celebrated their 50th anniversary with a vacation to Cannon Beach, Ore., with all four of their children, their spouses and 15 grandchildren. They were married Aug. 28, 1965, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Walla Walla and have lived in Whitman County for all of their 50 years of marriage. Their children are Elaine (Roe) DiLazzaro from Seattle, Mike Roe from Bend, Ore., Jeannie (Roe) Gruber from Olympia and Alison (Roe) Heaton from Spokane.
