AUGUST RAIN TALLY: .20

Rainfall reading at the NRCS office in Colfax after Sunday’s rainfall was .17 inches. That combined with an Aug. 11 reading of .03 amounted to a .20 total for the month. A normal rainfall total for August here is .72 inches.

The low tally for August follows a .12 total for July which also has a .72 normal for the month.
