Fair’s ‘Stirrup Some Fun’ opens today at Mockonema

With the raising of the flag, Community Building pancakes and a goat barn meeting, the 2015 Palouse Empire Fair begins today, Thursday.

The four-day event, themed “Stirrup Some Fun,” will feature three rodeo sessions, live entertainment each day and night, animal showings and auctions, carnival rides, the queen’s coronation and food and displays of all kinds.
