Myricks duo hosts annual meet

Lucky and Joan Myrick hosted their annual Myrick/Brink get-together this weekend. Arriving at the Myrick home Friday were son Rich Myrick and Jannetta, Moses Lake; Rich’s daughter Deanna, Spanaway; Jannetta’s daughter, Kierstyn Johnson, Puyallup; son Mike Myrick and friend Rhonda Cluff, Spanaway and Mike’s son Michael, Yelm.

Arriving at the Brink home Friday were Kevin and Amber Brink, Kennewick, with their children Ashley, Kloey, Ellie and Nick; Amber’s brother and his family, Robert and Sarah Hrabak and Rayna, Katelynn, Allison and Robert, Jr. Saturday morning, John and Brandi Brink and Myla, Colfax; and Mike Stine, LaCrosse; joined the Brinks.

They all gathered at the Myrick home Saturday for the day. The weekend ended with a picnic lunch Sunday. After everyone left for their respective homes, Larry and Di Brink and Mike Stine went to the Palouse Empire Fair.

Ed and Joan Broeckel spent Labor Day weekend in Boise with their daughter Amber. While there, they also enjoyed the hot air balloon festival.

David and Phyllis Stueckle celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last Friday with a celebratory dinner at the home of their son, Doug and Cheryl Stueckle. They also celebrated granddaughter Andrea’s birthday. Besides the hosts and guests of honor, those attending included Ann Marie and children Aurora and Sylas, Mark and Andrea Davis, Ashleigh Stueckle, and Cheryl’s mother, Joanne Montieth.

Wesley Banks spent this past weekend with his grandmother, Linda Hennigar. They took in the Palouse Empire Fair.

Many Dusty residents participated in the Palouse Empire Fair, either with entries in various events or working the many jobs.

Country Bible Church has returned to their regular time schedule, resuming the 11 a.m. worship service.
