Oakesdale, Colton stack net wins

Oakesdale volleyball team advanced their record to 2-1 Tuesday with a three-game win over the LWK Tigercats. The Panthers prevailed 25-17, 25-19 and 25-9.

Jacey Johnson led Oakesale with 12 kills and 13 digs. She and Lindsey Lindgren each had three aces. Maddy Shrope put up 26 assists for the hosts.

Britte Harder hit eight kills for LWK, and Nicole Harder had eight digs and 10 assists. Jessica Guske hit three aces and Jazzmyn Gordon put up three blocks.

Oakesdale took the win after Colton rolled north last Wednesday and posted a 3-1 win before the fair.

Tuesday, Colton defeated defeated St. John-Endicott 25-22, 25-22, 25-15 and 25-17 in league round. The loss left the Eagles at 0-2 in the league after a Thursday opener loss to Touchet.

Zoey Moser led the Wildcats Tuesday with 12 kills and four aces, and MaryAnn Jacobs had 19 assists.

For the Eagles, Abby Glorfield had two kills and 11 digs; Gracie Dickerson had four kills and 12 digs; Aja Schmick had 17 digs; Hunter Hollingsworth booked four blocks and Katelyn Blumenschein had seven blocks.
