Gar-Pal coach search ongoing

The Garfield-Palouse school district’s search for a boys’ basketball coach to succeed Tim Coles continues.

Coles retired this summer after 29 years and two state championships with the Vikings.

The district has posted the opening in various publications.

“There’s no news as of yet,” Gar-Pal Athletic Director Scott Thompson reported.“It’s open until filled.”

First hoop practice for the Vikings is scheduled for Nov. 16....
