Vanos tops NE run

Nathan Vanos of St. George’s topped a field of 41 cross country runners at Northwest Christian Tuesday to win with a time of 18:16.6 over the 5K courses. Jack Ammon of host NWC placed second with a clocking of 18:47.63

Placing for Colfax were Chase Baerlocher, 12th at 22:16, Carson Cloaninger, 19th at 23:04; Josh Goebel, 29th at 25:21, and Doug Wilson, 31st at 26.57.

Marika Moreian of St. George’s won the girls race at 22:4l.14 with Madison Janke of NWC placing second at 24:21.52. Alicia Knee placed 15th at 31:37, and Rebekah Huber 16th at 32:03 for Colfax.
