Serving Whitman County since 1877
Open enrollment for health insurance and Medicare supplement will be Oct. 15 through Dec. 7. Whitman County Library is partnering again this year with Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors to offer free, unbiased, confidential help in making this important decision. Supplement policies need an annual review as they change in cost and coverage every year.
Volunteers Daniel and Joyce Leonard visit library branches to give information tailored to meet individual needs of current and future Medicare recipients. Participants are asked to bring a list of current medications to help find the best drug coverage.
Programs have been scheduled at the following library branches:
Oct. 15 - Tekoa noon to 3 p.m. and Farmington 4 to 6 p.m.
Oct. 16 - St. John 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Malden 2 to 5 p.m.
Oct. 19 - Oakesdale 1 to 3 p.m. and Garfield 3:30 to 6 p.m.
Oct. 22 - Rosalia 3 to 6 p.m.
Oct. 29 - LaCrosse 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Colton 3 to 6 p.m.
