Vets assembly set at Garfield

Garfield-Palouse School will host their annual Veterans Assembly Friday, Nov. 6, at 9:30 a.m. in the Garfield-Palouse Middle School gymnasium at Garfield. Guest speakers will include the Commander of the Potlatch VFW Post 10300 Joseph Lingham Harrison III and retired S. Sgt. William J. Harmeyer, Army Special Forces. Garfield-Palouse Elementary singers and the University of Idaho Vandaleers, under the direction of Dr. Michael Murphy, will perform. Flutist Paula Ockerberg will be featured....
