Bulldogs fight off Braves for third title win

Unlike their last two championship runs for the state 2B volleyball title, Colfax Bulldogs hoisted the trophy in the SunDome for the third time Saturday night after an exercise in brinkmanship. The Bulldogs took the title after a five-game battle with the LaConner Braves in the championship game. They staged two comebacks, including digging out of a 1-5 hole in the last 15-point game to take the title.
