Schweitzers donate to Pullman hospital project

Pullman Regional Hospital has received a $350,000 gift from Ed and Beatriz Schweitzer to upgrade surgical technology and expand surgical services.

“Beatriz and I appreciate this opportunity to help Pullman Regional Hospital. Scott (Adams) made it easy for us to ‘get to yes,’ when he shared exactly what he needs to build ­– a fourth surgery room,” said Ed Schweitzer.

“We are very grateful for the Schweitzer family’s generosity,” said Pullman Regional Hospital CEO Scott Adams. “Ed and Beatriz are helping to ensure our community has better access to the best surgical care.”
