Colton girls, who defeated Colfax with sharp shooting at the end of a short jamboree match last Monday at Colfax, proved up Friday night when they defeated the Bulldogs 66-53 in the new Colton gym. Colton served up another ration of their tough defense and ripped to a 37-21 lead in the first half. Colfax had just six buckets from the field in the half.
Zoe Moser finished with a game high 28 points. Moser was a focus of Colfax defense, and she collected 14 of 16 shots off the toss line for the night.
Ashtyn Aune hit 17 to lead the Bulldogs at Colton. She dropped in four thee-point shots.
