Erik Luden murder trial wraps on day two

The jury for the Erik Luden trial began deliberation Wednesday morning after the state’s case on the second-degree murder charge concluded early Tuesday afternoon. Luden, 25, is charged with the second-degree murder of his father, Virgil “Cliff” Luden May 30, at his college hill apartment in Pullman.

After Chief Deputy Prosecutor Bill Druffel ended the state’s case, Steve Martonick, Luden’s appointed defense attorney, who cross-examined the state’s witnesses, rested for the defense.
