Library gets book donation from genealogical society

The Whitman County Genealogical Society recently donated copies of a number of society publications to the St. John, Palouse and Tekoa branches of Whitman County Library.

Each location will receive six key genealogical resource books.

Titles include: Whitman County Washington Birth Records, 1875-1907; Whitman County Washington Marriage Records, 1872-1892; Whitman County Washington Marriage Records, 1892-1897; Whitman County Washington Death Register Records, 1891 to 1907 (which includes a section of death records extracted from the Pullman Herald Newspaper 1888 to 1929); Whitman County Washington Families, and every name index to the newspaper and resource collection of Dorothy Sevier Matson, Volume 2 and 3.

For more information or to reserve these items, contact Patti Cammack at Whitman County Library or visit the Society’s website.
