Kathleen Curry Norbeck

Kathleen Curry Norbeck, 87, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, at her Garfield home. No services will be held.

Born Oct. 21, 1928, at Flora, Ore., to William and Margaret (Hunt) Curry, she attended schools at Flora Enterprise, Ore., and graduated from the Asotin High School in 1947. She later attended college at College Place in Walla Walla for three years.

She married Jerry Norbeck May 29, 1964, in Moscow, and the couple made their home in Lewiston. Kathleen was a homemaker all her life, and Jerry worked at Potlatch Forest, Inc., in Lewiston.

They moved to Garfield in 2004 to live near her daughter.

She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She enjoyed reading and music.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry, at the Garfield home, one son, John Norbeck, Moscow; two daughters, Laura Redmon, Garfield, and Linda Torres (David), Pasadena, Md., two brothers, Alexander Curry, Hoover, Ala., Maurice Curry, Orofino, Idaho; two sisters, Lydia Murray, Salem, Ore., and Mariam Hayward, Lewiston; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Memorials may be given to the Gentiva Hospice, 1610 NE Eastgate Blvd. Ste. 610, Pullman, 99163.
