State 'Math is Cool' winners

The Lincoln Middle School seventh grade math team in Pullman placed first in the statewide competition "Math is Cool." From left are Om Sahaym, Jay Sahaym, Shelley Yu and Meghan Dutta. They qualified by winning the regional round in Spokane Nov. 6 and then topped other regional qualifiers in the "Math is Cool Masters" Dec. 5 at Moses Lake.
