Endicott faces shutdown of lone fuel site

An Endicott resident fills up his gas tank Jan. 14 at the Endicott gas station.

Some Endicott residents last week received a letter from CHS Primeland detailing that the fuel pumps there will be closing this summer.

“As a purchaser of fuel at our Endicott Washington fuel site, we regret to inform you that the CHS Primeland has made the decision to discontinue dispensing fuel at this location,” the letter read. “This decision was not made lightly.”

The decision was made in light of discoveries of upgrades needed at the pumps, the letter explained.
