The people of this place had a genuine Indian scare last night and for about half an hour every man in the city was arming himself with all the Winchester rifles and bowie knives that he could get hold of.

The dispatches in yesterday's Review announced a rumor that the Nez Perces Indians, a few miles from Moscow, had taken the Messiah craze and were preparing for war.
