Five generations of Chittendens

Five generations of the Chittenden family gathered Dec. 9 at Whitman Health & Rehab in Colfax where Gerald Chittenden from Puyallup, 90, is recovering from injuries sustained from a fall while deer hunting with family members in this area.

After being treated at Providence Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, he opted to continue his recovery at Colfax.

Seen here with Gerald, from the left, are his great-grandson, Richard M. Chittenden from Colfax; his son, Richard Wagner Chittenden from Bonney Lake; his great-great-grandson, Andrew Chittenden, 3, Colfax, and his grandson, Richard Wade Chittenden, former Colfax resident who now lives in Tekoa.

Gerald Chittenden is a World War II veteran, and his son is a Vietnam War veteran.
