New hours for Garfield library

Garfield Branch of Whitman County Library will begin new hours of operation starting Feb. 1. The library’s new hours will be Mondays from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with Storytime at 1 p.m., and after school programming continuing whenever there is an early release on Wednesdays at 1 p.m.

According to Branch Services Manager Catalina Flores, the new hours take into account the heaviest usage times for the library while adding some much needed morning hours.
