The United States Bureau of Labor Statistics Tuesday released information regarding women's earnings in the workforce.
According to the report, on a nationwide level, women working full-time earned $719 per week, compared to the $871 average per week for men. That boils down to women earning 82.5 percent of what men earn.
The report released statewide data as well, indicating that while women earn more per week in Washington state than the national average, the percentage is slightly less. Women in Washington on average earned $807 per week or 81 percent of the $996 average for men.
