Parenting Class slated at Tekoa Library

The Tekoa Library and Healthy Tekoa Coalition will host a free parenting workshop series for all adults who parent children on Wednesdays, Feb. 24 through March 23, at the Tekoa Library, from 6 to 7:30 pm.

Families with children aged 6-16 are encouraged to participate in the five evening programs. Class topics will cover preventing problem behaviors, developing clear and healthy beliefs, controlling anger and strengthening family bonds.

Childcare and light snacks will be provided. Adults who complete all five sessions will earn a $20 gift certificate.
