David Stueckle and Steve Appel attended Farm Bureau Legislative Days in Olympia last week from Monday to Wednesday.

Nine members of the Dusty B.B. Club plus guest Lisa Frey and children met at the home of Helen Appel last Wednesday for a fun day of playing Bingo. Helen and Liz Appel were co-hostesses. The next meeting will also be at the home of Helen Appel, Wednesday, March 9, at 1 p.m. Liz Appel will present a glass painting lesson. Members are asked to bring their itty bitty paint brushes for detail work, if they have them. Roll call is to bring "something you made."

Saturday, the family of former Dusty resident Donna Camp helped her move from her former home in the Spokane Valley to The Courtyard in Colfax. Helping with the move were Steve and Becky Camp, Dusty; Nancy from Tok, Alaska; and Leanne and Jerry Hibbard from Palouse, plus a number of grandchildren. Nancy will stay for about a week to help her mother settle in to her new digs.

Dinner guests at the home of Dick and Helen Appel Saturday were their son Phil and his guest Leslie Tyler-Gutman, both from Cheney.

Sunday evening, Brian and Angela Broeckel and Tom and Doreen Riedner, Dusty; and Denise Kendall, Tacoma; attended the Spokane Valley wedding of Ronald Jacob and Courtney Birch. Ronald is the grandson of their aunt and uncle, Judy and Ron Birch of Spokane.

Denise Kendall, Tacoma, is spending the week of her winter break from teaching in the University Place District with her father, Oscar Broeckel.

Sunday was the Dusty Gun Club’s Annual Sausage Shoot. It was a well attended event.
