Man towing wagons

Colfax police have responded to calls regarding a possible vagrant who was camping at the north end of town. Police Chief Rick McNannay said officers talked with the man who was traveling with two small wagons. He said the man told them he was traveling to Montana and pulling the wagons as he went. The man reportedly received some assistance from a motorist in getting the wagons up the Buck Canyon grade and his last known location was the road loop at the former tar tanks site at the top of the grade.
