Sherry Chambers Bartlett
A memorial service for Sherry Bartlett, 65, will be Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Princeton, Idaho. Pastor Kathy Lee Kramer will officiate, and a dinner will follow the service. Mrs. Bartlett died in Moscow, Idaho, Feb. 19, 2016, after a 22-month battle with cancer.
She was born to Harold L. Chambers and Marilyn Virginia Hespen in Potlatch, Idaho, March 16, 1950.
After graduation from Palouse High School, she worked as a dental assistant for a short time, owned and operated her own daycare and worked for Nirk Archery in Potlatch for many years. Later on she worked many years in the food service industry and later decided to open up Sherry’s Country Gas Mart in Princeton.
She married Donald N. Kinman May 1, 1976. Mr. Kinman died Oct. 18, 2000.
She married William Bartlett July 30, 2011, and they made their home out on the Bartlett farm in Potlatch.
She retired in 2011.
She especially loved camping and spending the summers on the Palouse River surrounded by family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, William Bartlett, Potlatch; daughter Tia (Tim) McKinney, son Shane Bartlett; brothers and sisters, Darrel (Cleo) Chandler of Sparks, Nev .; Donna (Jerry) Thompson of Palouse; Larry (Carolyn) Chandler, Shelton; Linda (Jesse) Ketcham of Aguana, Calif .; Karen Deitz, Hayden, Idaho, and Kent (Debbie) Chambers of Potlatch.

Carol Jean Huffman
Carol Jean Huffman, 67, long time Thornton resident, died Feb. 11, 2016, in Spokane after a short illness. A funeral service will not be conducted.
She worked in Colfax for many years in the offices of Dr. Ole Slind and Dr. Robert Tulin and later with John Henry at Colfax Security. She also worked at Arrow Machinery and for trucking companies. She enjoyed cooking and reading.
She was married for 14 years.
Surviving are a son, Craig; her brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Zoe Montgomery of Thornton; two grandchildren, and her life partner for the last 30 years, Ken Enquist.
She was born in Libby, Mont., Aug. 15, 1948.
The family suggests memorials go the the American Cancer Society.
