Colfax wrestlers compete at state Mat Classic in Tacoma Dome

Six Colfax wrestlers competed at the state Mat Classic in the Tacoma Dome Friday and Saturday.

They rolled up 50 team points to finish 11th in the all-B division.

At top, Reggie Jones, left, battles Merit Fink of Liberty Bell in the semi-final of the 145 class, and Brian DeYoung, right, works for an escape against Wyatt Stoddard of Selkirk in the 195 class.

DeYoung finished in fourth place.

Jones finished in sixth place.

Both are seniors.

Bulldog entrants in action along the bottom row, from the left, are Chris Jones against Matthias Federer of Lind/Ritzville/Sprague in the 132 class, Garrett Phillips working for a takedown of Kaleb Horn in the 106 class and Nick McAdams taking the top position on Garrett Thomas of Tonasket in the 220 class.
