Republican county convention set for March 19

Next stop for the local Republicans will be the county convention, which has been scheduled for March 19 in the McGregor Co. auditorium at its Mockonema offices. Delegates to the county session were selected at three pool caucus sessions Feb. 20.

Overall, the three caucus sites drew 91 participants with the pool meetings at Lincoln Middle School in Pullman, the Public Service Building in Colfax and the St. John City Hall.
