Taco Trauma tomorrow in St. John

It may not be Taco Tuesday, but Taco Trauma is hitting St. John Friday. The 27th annual Taco Trauma event will be at the St. John Community Building tomorrow, March 11, and promises good food, live music, more good food and a beer and margarita garden.

The Taco Trauma fundraiser was started in 1989 by the St. John Community Club and has been a staple ever since. The funds raised will benefit improvements to the St. John Community Building, fairgrounds and barns.

The fun is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., with families welcome from 6-9 p.m. After 9 p.m., the festivities are limited to those 21 and older. Those drinking are asked to bring their identification and a designated driver.

Live music will be provided after 9 p.m. by Brothers Ride, a country music band out of the Tri-Cities.

According to the Facebook posting for the event, take out orders will be taken between 5 and 6 p.m. at 509-648-3622.
