Novak faces four charges

Four formal charges were filed against Michael Novak, 47, Colfax, March 23 in Whitman County Superior Court by Prosecutor Denis Tracy. Novak was booked into jail early Saturday morning after deputies responded to a report last Friday of possible assault and voyeurism at Novak’s residence on Klaus Road in the Wilcox area.

Formal charges filed included second degree assault, indecent liberties and two counts of voyeurism.

All four charges allege the crimes took place March 12, six days before the alleged victims reported the allegations to the sheriff’s office.
