Bulldog baseball rolls to 4-0 league start

Rolling on a 4-0 record, Colfax Bulldogs were set back a day Tuesday when wet conditions delayed their home doubleheader against Kettle Falls to Wednesday afternoon.

Last Wednesday against Northwest Christian, the Bulldogs topped the Crusaders 9-2 in the opener and edged them 7-4 in the closer.

"We played pretty well in both games, and we had some good situational hitting," coach Mike Parrish said.

Junior pitcher Danny Robinson held the Crusaders to six hits, struck out six and walked just two for a win in the first game.

The Bulldog offense rolled off 13 hits against three NWC pitchers.
