Colfax softball pegs 1-2 to start

Colfax senior Sarah Appel, a former starting catcher, began the season in the pitcher’s

circle for the Bulldog softball team.

The Colfax Bulldog softball team hosted Kettle Falls Wednesday after posting a 1-3 record in their first NE rounds. The Bulldogs dropped Reardan 12-2 in their opener March 18 and then sustained two defeats at Northwest Christian March 23.

The second home game against Reardan in the opener was called off by the umps because the Colfax outfield was too wet. Wednesday, the Colfax-Kettle games were moved to the JV field which survived last week's rains in better condition....
