The Colton baseball has picked up where they left off for 2016. With 12 returning players from last year, including seven starters from a state 1B fifth-place team, they look to deliver once again for ninth-year coach Pat Doumit.
Opening the new season with a 7-0 win over Grangeville and a 10-2 win over Weezer, the Wildcats played a doubleheader at Waitsburg/Prescott Tuesday, winning 8-5 and 20-1.
Colton’s seven returning starters include Carter Dahmen at pitcher and first base.
