Whitman County Libraries – Penny Drive. WCL is collecting pennies, dimes & dollars too for youth programs or special library projects in your community. Drop off your spare change to WCL anytime from April 10-25.
Monday, April 11
Colton – 10:30 a.m. – Storytime; Jungle Animals. Developed just for children ages 1-6.
LaCrosse – 10:30 to noon – Play & Learn Group. Parents & caregivers visit, and share ideas on children and childcare. Interactive learning for children and adults. Program details contact: Tami at LaCrosse Library 519-3370.
St. John – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Tech Monday – Computer and digital device help on the second Monday of the month. Questions welcome. Coffee is free.
Tuesday, April 12
Rosalia – 10:30 a. m. – Preschool Storytime. Exciting stories and fun activities for preschoolers and their caregivers.
Endicott – 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Play & Learn. Children learn social interactions, discover educational toys and tips. Program details: contact Tia at 657-3429.
Tekoa – 5 p.m. – Suicide Prevention. Recognize a suicide crisis and take preventative steps. FREE class. Walk-ins welcome. Spread the word about this workshop.
Wednesday, April 13
Tekoa (12 p.m.) & Rosalia (12:30 p.m.) – Early Release – Supervised activities for school-aged children.
Uniontown – 5 to 6 p.m. – Adult Craft Night is back. Coloring, knitting, clay play, and much more.
Gathering Place in LaCrosse – 7 p.m. – Book Club – Good conservation and food. Bring a snack to share.
Thursday, April 14
Colfax & LaCrosse – Early Learning Storytime – Engaging stories and imaginative activities for children of all ages.
Uniontown – (4-5 p.m.) Drama Club (only on April 14, 21 & 28) Week one of a special three week program. Explore drama & theater in the fun after school program as we plan a showcase about what we’ve learned.
