Chance Weitze medals at Big Bend

Colfax junior Chance Weitze picked up another medalist honor Tuesday with a score of 38 at the Big Ben Golf & County Club in Wilbur. Par for the course is 36.

Coach Steve Jones noted scores on the Big Ben Course were a little over because the turf had just been aerated.

Taylor Mitchell of St. George's and Alicia Johnson of Almira/Coulee/ Hartline were medalists for the girls with 44 scores, seven over the women's par for the course.

Other scores for the Colfax boys were Augie Allenbach and Bennett Gray, both 45, AJ Miller 48, Cody Muir 58, Brian DeYoung 44, Gunnar Aune 49, Riley Ewing 61, Brandon Lustig 64 and Chase Aeschliman 70.

Scores for the Colfax girls included McKenna Davis 50, Kylie Gronning 55, Sarah Pugh 60 and Cassidi Shindler 63.
