Colton softball carries on, Moser career ends

Moser Incorporated has ended a year earlier than expected.

The eight-year run of Moser sisters powering Colton softball victories and seven-straight state championships – not to mention eight in basketball – has concluded with a torn ACL for the class of 2016's Zoe Moser.

The four-year starter at pitcher played two games to begin the season before coach Brad Nilson moved a game from Saturday to Friday so she could play in a basketball all-star game.

At the game, the state 1B girls Player of the Year went down with an injury, ending her Colton athletic career.
