Pullman to plant Arbor Day tree

The public is invited to attend Pullman's Arbor Day celebration today, Thursday, at 1:30 p.m. at Reaney Park in Pullman.

Mayor Glenn Johnson will be on hand to plant the Arbor Day Tree. He will plant the tree along with Pullman Parks and Recreation preschool students.

The first 50 people in attendance will receive a tree seedling which can be planted.

According to a press release for the event, in case of inclement weather the celebration will be moved indoors to the Pioneer Center located at 240 SE Dexter Street.
