Residents gathered last Thursday through Saturday in downtown Pullman to support the seventh annual Pullman Art Walk, put on by the Pullman Arts Commission (PAC). There were plenty of events to attend, including a storytime at the Neil Public Library, live street music outside of Brused Books and a number of art viewings throughout businesses in the downtown.

Additionally, there were events and workshops scheduled for Thursday which ranged from photography basics to “the Art of Braiding.” There was also an award ceremony presented by Mayor Glenn Johnson and an artist meet and greet along with an artwork viewing.

“This is such a great opportunity for families to come together,” said Jennifer Harbour, member of the Arts Commission.

At the storybook reading, Julie Walker, resident of Pullman, read “The Perfect Nest” by Catherine Friend to children and then encouraged the children to create “perfect” nests of their own.

“We're all so excited and having fun!” said Walker.
