The school bonds election in this city on Saturday last resulted in the polling of the largest vote ever cast at a school election in this city.

Polls opened in the Main street school building at 1 o'clock p.m.

and closed at 8.

The number of citizens voting was one hundred and seventy, of which number a hundred and sixty-five noted for, and five against, the bonding of the district.
