The meeting in Colfax will be from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at The Center, and the meeting in Pullman is scheduled to be in the city council chamber at Pullman City Hall.
According to a press release for the meetings, the purpose of the public forums are to receive input for the Long-Range Regional Transportation Plan for 2016-36 in Asotin, Columbia, Garfield and Whitman counties. The meetings will discuss how the plan relates to the counties, cities, ports and public transportation and how these relate to improvements, goals and policies.
The meetings will provide previous transportation goals and policies along with a feedback form and will seek input for the plan for the next 20 years. Meetings will also be held in the other three counties.
