The national holiday honoring those who served in the nation’s military is this Monday. It makes for a three-day weekend.

This is the time veterans and active military are spotlighted. Nearly every city has some special ceremony to commemorate and honor veterans. It is also when politicians give tributes and announce undying support for them.
