Bulldogs advance 20 to state track finals

Twenty Colfax Bulldogs made the top five cut Friday and Saturday in the NE-SE regional meet at Central Valley. The qualifiers will begin competition in the preliminary rounds of some events on Thursday, May 26, at Roos Field in Cheney with more prelims following Friday.

Colfax senior Scout Cai again made her run of first-place finishes in the pole vault, high jump and the two sprint events to top a Colfax girls team entry at Central Valley. They took the regional meet team honor with 118.5 points.
