A Pullman water main was struck with a small leak the morning of Sunday, May 29, around 9:30 a.m. The water main burst off of B Street in an alley between the Institute of Religion of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Pi Beta Phi sorority house near the WSU campus.
Pullman Public Works Director Kevin Gardes said he is not sure how many gallons of water were spilled during the leak, but “compared to the one on Grand Avenue in April, it was very, very minor.”
The water flowed down the alley onto Campus Street, and Pullman public works crews were able to contain it quickly....
