Library hosts veterans celebration

World War II veteran Joe Henderson is pictured here with Scout Leader Mark Clinton and members of the Colfax Scout Troop 595 at the Friends of Hospice "Celebrating our Veterans" ceremony last Thursday at the Whitman County Colfax Library. Henderson served in the Pacific during World War II. Scouts from the left are Carson Cloaninger, Connor Johnson and Carter Casten.

Other highlights included Ukulele Players of the Palouse and the donation of library book resources by Friends of Hospice.
